The Control PCB (LPL reference 525-015) provides power to the sensor and monitors the signal generated as the sensor is affected by the loads experienced by the hoist. When a load exceeds the SWL calibrated into the PCB, a volts free relay is activated, to trip the hoist motor to prevent lifting.  

The Control PCB can be fitted with further components to provide other functions such as 4-20mA output for a load display. Three or five Control PCB s can be used within a system to provide trip functions for individual and multiple hoist operations.  

The Control PCB is fitted into the control panel of the hoist, and is powered by 50 Vac or 110 Vac. Calibration for the system is undertaken at the Control PCB, assisted by LED indication when settings are correct.
